About During my studies at the Sprachen- und Dolmetscherinstitut Munich, I quickly realized that I feel very comfortable in my area of studies law, and that I have an eye for detail. I love learning new languages and analysing their structures. During my work in the international law firm ReedSmith, I was able to experience the processes in a law firm up close, to prepare various legal translations as well as translate correspondence between lawyers. That is why I know how important smooth, fast processes and error-free translations are. My love for grammar and error-free texts was deepened by more than 3 years of work at Bayerischer Rundfunk in the editorial department for subtitles for the hearing impaired, where I was always confronted with new linguistic challenges. As a result, error-free texts are now part of my everyday life, and I can recognize discrepancies at a glance. When I spent a semester in England in 2012, I learned to talk in English on any subject and got a natural feeling for the language. I speak, read or hear the language as often as I can in order to not lose this feeling for language. Soon I decided to combine my expertise and experience with my strengths and language affinity and start my own business as a translator. I became a member of the Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer e.V. (Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators) and was sworn in at the Munich Regional Court. I love my job and I am constantly learning to deepen my knowledge and stay up to date. I look forward to working with you!
